The Florida Stormwater Association is governed by a 22-member Board of Directors and a 4-member Executive Committee. In addition to the leadership, FSA has 4 standing committees including Conference, Education, Legislative/Agency Relations and Membership:

  • The Conference Committee is responsible for the oversight, and promotion and planning of FSA’s two statewide conferences.

The Education Committee is responsible for the oversight of the education and training programs of the Association, including Stormwater Operator certifications, webinars and the September Seminar.

  • The Legislative Committee is responsible for the oversight of FSA’s activities in the Florida Legislature, and state and federal agencies as they relate to the objectives of the Association.

  • The Membership Committee is responsible for the oversight of member recruitment and retention programs, new member services and the Excellence Awards.

Committees meet up to four times a year, typically in conjunction with a FSA Conference/Seminar.  Your organization must be a member of FSA for you to serve on a committee.  The FSA Board President makes final committee appointments to ensure a balance of private and public members.
