Stormwater, Erosion & Sedimentation Control Course Agenda - Fees

FSA offers FDEP's Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training and Certification courses based on demand. The goal of the two-day FDEP program is to increase the use of proper design, construction and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls during construction and to assure their proper long-term operation and maintenance.

SCHEDULE

All courses are 2 days from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

FDEP's Stormwater, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Inspector Training and Certification Courses are hosted by FSA on an on-demand basis. However, there are other providers who offer the course.

Who Should Attend?

The training program is primarily dedicated towards inspectors and private contractors/developers; however, NPDES permit managers, public works personnel and engineers will also benefit from the course.

Why Should You Attend?

Successful completion of Stormwater Erosion & Sedimentation Control training results in:

  • State Inspector Certification from Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)

  • 8 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for Professional Engineers

  • 8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for licensed Contractors, Floodplain Managers and Code Enforcement Officers


What’s Included?

All course materials will be provided. Please bring your own pen/pencil. There will be a one-hour break for lunch. Students are responsible for their own meals on both days.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds of course fees will be given for cancellations received less than 10 days before a course begins.  Refunds of course fees (minus a $25 processing fee) will be given if cancellations are received in writing at least 10 days prior to the start of a course.  In the event that a registrant is not able to attend a course, students and their employers are encouraged to send substitute personnel.  There is no charge when substituting personnel from the same organization.
