The 2017 Winter Conference will provide two days of top-quality workshops focusing on an array of Florida stormwater topics.  There will also be a Pre-Conference Workshop and a Stormwater Projects Tour held the day prior to the conference.

Engineers, scientists, stormwater managers, policy-makers and elected officials throughout Florida will all benefit from the conference’s educational agenda.

Hotel Information
The conference will be held at the Hilton Orlando located at 6001 Destination Pkwy, Orlando, FL 32819.  FSA has contracted with the hotel to set aside a block of sleeping rooms for all conference attendees at a discounted rate of $129/night.  We do this to make your planning as easy as possible and to ensure that you get the most out of your time here.  If you choose not to stay at the conference hotel, FSA could be responsible for paying for those rooms.  The block of rooms is being held until November 6, 2017 or until the block fills up, whichever comes first. Make your reservation by going online to our dedicated reservations page or by calling the Hilton Orlando at (407) 313-4300.  Please be sure to mention that you are with the “Florida Stormwater Association” conference to receive the discounted rate.

Parking
The Hilton Orlando offers both self-parking and valet parking.  Parking is discounted for FSA attendees; self-parking is $10 per day and valet parking is $14 per day. To ensure you receive these parking rates, please be sure to inform parking attendants that you are with the Florida Stormwater Association.

Continuing Education
Florida Professional Engineers attending the conference will be eligible for continuing education credits on an hour-per-hour basis.  Professional Engineers and Certified Floodplain Managers must submit paperwork each day including their license number to receive credits. (FSA Provider #03854 – Area of Practice).

Registration Deadlines, Discounts and Refunds
Registration will open in early September. Registration fees include all course materials, select meals on the day(s) you register to attend (including three breaks, two continental breakfasts, a plated lunch and a welcome reception), unlimited access to the workshop rooms and access to the exhibit hall.  To receive the discounted early registration rate, you must register online no later than November 3, 2017.  Payment can be made online by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or AMEX) or you can request an invoice to pay by check.  Refunds will be provided (minus a $25 processing fee) for cancellations received in writing prior to November 23rd. There will be no refunds granted after November 23, 2017.

Ticketed Events
Conference registrations include a ticket for each meal function and reception listed on the conference agenda. A ticket is required to attend all functions. If you wish to bring a guest to a conference function, call FSA at 888-221-3124 in advance of the conference. Onsite tickets are limited and will only be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
