The Florida Stormwater Association’s Level 1 course is intended to improve the knowledge and competency of stormwater management field personnel by providing high quality, consistent training that assures a recognized level of knowledge and skill. FSA Stormwater Operator Certifications are valid for 5 years. ScheduleCertification courses are offered in either online or in-person formats based on need. All courses are two days from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
*Online participants will require individual computer access with internet and audio capabilities, no camera or microphone required. Who Should Attend?Stormwater Operator Level 1 is designed for field maintenance personnel such as foremen, technicians, heavy equipment operators, road stabilization crews, crew leaders, etc. Why Should You Attend?Successful completion of Level 1 training results in:
What’s Included?All course materials will be provided. There will be a one-hour break for lunch both days. Cancellation and Refund Policy: No refunds, credits or transfers of course fees will be given for cancellations received less than 10 days before a course begins or if a registrant fails to attend a course. Refunds of course fees (minus a $25 processing fee) will be given if cancellations are received in writing at least 10 days prior to the start of a course. In the event that a registrant is not able to attend a course, registrant and their employers are encouraged to send substitute personnel.
